Oxbow Quarterhorses began operation in 1995 in the Rio Grande Valley of southern New Mexico. In October 2013, we began moving our operation to Texas. That move is now complete and we are now located at Marlin, Texas.
Hank G. and Winona Willemsma and Holly Willemsma are dedicated to raising quality ranch quarterhorses. Their horses are bred from Blue Valentine, Joe Hancock and Driftwood lines using stock that has been selected for their sound minds, quiet dispositions, and conformation as well as color. These horses have been used on ranches and grazing operations ranging from South Texas to Montana and have a reputation for being tough, good using horses that will never let you down.
